Land Conflict Watch is looking for story pitches

Land Conflict Watch  which collects data about ongoing land conflicts in India and tells stories about land. We work with journalists to shape deeply reported stories about how land and its intersection with politics, economy, environment, gender, caste, public spaces, education, health and art affects Indian society. We care about the stories we tell so it’s never a rushed job here. We collaborate with media outlets such as IndiaSpend, HuffPost, Caravan and the Wire to publish those stories. Some of our stories have been used to raise questions in parliament. Here is a link to our stories page: https://www.landconflictwatch.org/stories

Pitch us big ideas, chilling investigations, policy loopholes, moving narratives and anything in between. We are eager to work with women, LGBTQ, Dalit, Adivasi, and muslim journalists who are less represented in traditional media outlets.
